Why does our full team take a day out of work at least once a year to serve together at a Habitat for Humanity project site?
Our top 4 reasons:
- Contributing to our community is a core value at JM Construction.
- We can use our skills to really make an impact on a worthy cause. (Learn why we align with Habitat for Humanity in our article, Helping Habitat for Humanity on a Local Holliston Home.)
- Serving together creates unity within our team. We could just send our skilled construction team, but by including everyone, we grow closer together and form stronger bonds.
- It’s fun – we love it!

We align with Habitat for Humanity in more ways than volunteering our time and labor. We team up with them to donate still usable appliances that we remove from our customer’s homes. It’s our way to play a small part in the “reduce, reuse, recycle” initiative. Every little bit helps.
If you would like to serve together and join us at our next work day, please reach out to our Office Manager, Cheyann Abrek. You can have fun and might learn a thing or two about construction after the hard day’s work. The more the merrier.
