Meet the Team: Todd Kennedy, Project Manager

Todd Kennedy, Project Manager - JM Construction

Todd is a dedicated and hard worker who fills the role of Project Manager for our team.

His construction experience began with four years at Heartwood Cabinetmakers in Holliston. “Todd’s experience in cabinet installation from his prior job is a valuable asset when we install custom kitchen cabinets,” says his colleague, Project Manager Skipper Farwell. “He shines when doing fine work like crown moldings and cabinetry. He has the one ingredient really needed for this type of work, and that is patience. I’ve watched Todd work on detailed trim pieces and can say he’s beyond his years when it comes to detail work.”

Todd enjoys working alongside our other experienced leads, and he has learned a lot from them in his five years with us. When asked about the working environment on a project, Todd shares that it is easy to get along with everyone. It’s a friendly environment with really good teamwork. He says, “we all know our roles, so everything falls into place because everyone knows what they need to do to get the job done.”

When not working, Todd enjoys extreme sports: snowboarding, downhill mountain biking and when he’s ready to relax, some good fishing. He has been snowboarding since he was 5 and loves the parks with their features (jumps, rails and boxes). He enjoys traveling with family and friends out west to snowboard in Colorado, California, Utah, and Nevada. In the northeast, some of his favorite mountains are Okemo and Sunday River.

Downhill mountain bike racing has interested him for the last 16 years. He’s experienced downhilling mountains like Killington and Highland Mountain Bike Park in New Hampshire. This sport is not for the faint of heart!

He loves all kinds of sport fishing. For saltwater fishing, he’s had luck on the Cape Cod canal. For fresh water, he enjoys exploring new lakes and spots to see what he can catch.

Reflecting on where Todd fits in with JM Construction, our President Jeff McLinden shares that, “Todd is an all-around good guy. He’s got a great sense of humor and gets along with everyone he comes in contact with. We are fortunate to have such a talented and committed craftsman as an integral part of our team.”
