Meet the Team: Sean Keast, Carpenter’s Assistant

 In In The Community

Helping Project Managers with the mobilization and construction of projects is the main job for Sean Keast, who is a Carpenter’s Assistant at JM Construction. He’s worked for us the last 3 summers and on breaks while attending Roger Williams University for Construction Management.

Sean originally started with masonry work and switched to remodeling in 2019. From a young age, he enjoyed helping his dad with projects, so working with his hands has always come naturally. When asked about the culture at JM Construction, he shared that he likes the professionalism and collaboration, and has observed that all team members have a great respect for each others’ skill sets. Sean’s a quick learner which is very helpful to the Project Managers working alongside him.

In his free time, skiing and camping are his passions. He hits the slopes in the winter, primarily on the east coast. Year round, he enjoys camping and is even building his own camper to take on his trips. He’s the youngest member of his family, cousins included, so he’s accustomed to being taught things, both at home and at work. Perhaps this is why he’s so teachable! He currently lives in Holliston with his family and is originally from Stevenson Ranch, California.
