Lead Carpenter

This is a full-time postition.

As a skilled carpenter, you’ll bring your craft to life on exciting projects while continuously honing your expertise. You’ll work closely with our Project and Construction Managers, completing tasks independently, with the aim of advancing to a Level 2 Carpenter through our Ladder of Opportunity program.

  • Provide clients with daily updates, either verbally or through logs, ensuring full transparency throughout the project
  • Demonstrate high-quality craftsmanship and a clear understanding of the project scope
  • Efficiently manage time, resources, and materials to maximize profitability
  • Coordinate material orders with ample lead time and verify accuracy upon delivery
  • Oversee inspections and promptly communicate client requests in the Project Manager’s absence
  • Maintain a secure, organized, and clean job site while adhering to safety protocols
  • Represent the company professionally in both appearance and communication

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of remodeling experience
  • GED or higher education
  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (preferred)
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with a clean driving record
  • OSHA Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or other industry-related software (preferred)
  • Respectful, empathetic, and caring in interactions with clients, trade partners, and team members, ensuring strong communication and understanding
  • Highly accountable and organized, dedicated to meeting timelines while maintaining a collaborative approach as a dependable team player
  • Full-time position, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Salary and Benefits

  • Wages: $28.00 to $30.00/hour, based on experience and skill level
