Dated Bathroom Receives a Top-to-Bottom Refresh

Project Overview

A dated primary bathroom in need of ventilation, insulation, and an extensive facelift was the focus of this Sherborn bathroom remodel. Located above the garage, the bathroom faced multiple challenges, including inadequate ventilation and insulation, making it too warm in the summer and too cold in the winter. Additionally, the space lacked sufficient storage for towels and other necessary bathroom items. Using the design-build methodology, our team addressed the insulation and ventilation issues while also adding much-needed storage, all within a polished and stunning bathroom aesthetic.

The Results

After correcting the insulation and ventilation issues, this bathroom became a comfortable, temperature-controlled space. The storage issue was solved by creating custom-built cabinetry under the double vanity sink. The entire bathroom took on a cohesive appearance with the graceful eastern white polished tile, which flows seamlessly from the sink and free-standing tub area into the glass-enclosed shower. The shower bench incorporated the same marble countertop found at the vanity, completing the unified vision. The rainshower head, rounded rectangle mirrors and satin nickel fixtures are timeless details that bring the whole room together.
