Need wall-to-wall or floor-to-ceiling built-ins nestled into oddly shaped spaces? Or an extra narrow linen closet? No problem. If you dream it, we will build it.
As a design/build company, we have lots of options for our clients when it comes to custom woodworking and cabinetry. Since we’ve been operating for 35 years, we have well established relationships with all of the quality cabinet suppliers in our area. We definitely know where to find superior craftsmanship!
But we don’t always use cabinetry suppliers to create the desired look and functionality for our clients. We have extensive experience in custom millwork and carpentry within our own team to design and build beautiful custom woodwork when it suits the project.
Contemporary Bath in Lincoln Boasts Floor to Ceiling Cabinet
Creating a functional cabinet to make the best use of the space was a top priority in this contemporary Lincoln bathroom. The vaulted and pitched wood ceiling is eye catching, and while it’s a favorite feature of this bath, it creates a unique challenge for floor-to-ceiling cabinetry. This squarely falls in the custom build category.
Because storage is limited in this mid-century modern home, creativity was needed to carve out spaces in all dimensions including up!
Sherborn Master Bath Get a Custom Transformation
Increasing storage was top on the list of priorities for this Sherborn couple, and our lead carpenter was up to the task of creating a custom woodworking solution. He built several custom woodwork pieces for their master bathroom – a vanity, medicine cabinet and a linen closet for extra storage. Our clients had a specific design in mind, so we were pleased to custom-build these pieces for them.
Since storage was a top priority, we made the best use of a narrow space between a window and tub for an additional linen closet, a future home for towels and toiletries. Instead of open shelving, a custom door was installed to hide what’s stored behind.
These homeowners love their beautiful and functional bathroom and are pleased to optimize their space while creating a crisp, clean, and luxurious bath.
These are the moments when we appreciate being both designer and builder. We love to come alongside clients to envision what could be and then make it become a reality. We agree with famed New York graphic designer:
There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no, and wow! Wow is the one to aim for.
