Get set up during renovations with JM Construction's temporary living and kitchen spaces

A Look at Temporary Living and Kitchen Spaces During Your Renovation

Our teams at JM Construction work hard to design and build your dream home. We work with you every step of the way, from design to construction to the finishing touches. However, while we do everything possible to keep your project on track, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is your dream home.

We understand that construction can disrupt your daily life, so we strive to make it an easy process for you. While we renovate your home, we can set you up with temporary kitchen and living spaces so you can continue to live your life.

Planning Your Living Situation During Renovations

When it comes to living with renovations, you need to decide whether you want to stay in your own home or if you’d rather find accommodation elsewhere. The biggest factor to consider is how long a construction project will take. Our contractors do their best to be quick and efficient when renovating your kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. However, any project takes time. Are you willing to go a few days, a week, or more without being able to use a certain room or amenities?

Next, you need to think about what you’re able to do without for a period of time. For example, if you’re getting your kitchen renovated, can you make due without your oven or dishwasher? If the answer is no, then you might want to stay with a friend or get a hotel until construction is complete. If the answer is yes, we can set you up with some in-home temporary accommodations that will let you stay in your home and still go about your daily life.

JM Construction’s Temporary Living Spaces

We care about our clients and strive to build great relationships by putting them first. In our efforts to keep our clients happy and not disrupt your daily routine and comfort, we at JM Construction will create a temporary living space for you. It will contain all of the essentials you need during renovations.

For example, during a recent kitchen renovation, we set up a kitchenette for our clients. This temporary living space included floor protection, a microwave, cooktop and running water. The appliances we supplied let them keep cooking hot meals and washing up. The floor protection helped muffle the sounds and vibrations of the renovations going on, offering a quiet refuge to enjoy a meal despite the nearby work. This bit of normalcy during what would otherwise be a hectic time gives you peace of mind and makes the process easier on you.

The temporary living spaces we make for our clients are our way of showing we care about your comfort. Instead of you needing to pay for a hotel or impose on friends or family, we make it so you don’t have to leave your home as we work. We do our best to accommodate your needs and give you the best experience you’ll ever have with a design-build company.
